I refuse to do any repair attempts or reinstalls. The issues with flash are a Ulead problem for sure. So either the new flash player has some conflict that will not allow VS10 to play them, or else something in its installation has completely wiped the format from the VS10 set-up. The stock flash clips that came with VS10 all work perfectly in it, as do other flash animations I have stored on the computer. swf is not listed in either as being an acceptable format.ĮDIT: after writing the above, I opened my Macromedia Flash Pro 8. I have looked in both drop down lists of formats under Insert Video and Insert Image, and. I also appear to be having a senior's moment as I cannot recall how I used to insert external. However, like jimswinder, I too am now getting the same message when I try dragging one of the stock VS10 flash clips into either the main timeline or an overlay track. (I also have the full Macromedia suite installed.) The previous version certainly worked with the flash animations included in VS10+ and with others I have on my system. My computer only recently upgraded the Flash player.
